There are just three weekends remaining in the 2017 MLS Decision Day, end to a thrilling MLS regular season. The 2017 edition of Decision Day will take place on Sunday, October 22. Decision Day is the only day of the season when every team plays at the exact same time. Fans will get to witness the most intense and dramatic two hours of the MLS season as teams fight for playoff positions on October 22. Decision Day shows will be jam-packed with experts and special guests like former U.S. National Team and MLS player Jimmy Conrad, former MLS coaches Jay Heaps and Jeff Cassar, and former MLS GM Ali Curtis.

While there have been some minor changes in the East, the more major shifts come out of West, with Real Salt Lake winning again, FC Dallas’ slide continuing, and the San Jose Earthquakes getting hammered by Patrick Mullins and D.C. The Vancouver Whitecaps defeated Sporting Kansas City 1-0 to become the first team in the Western Conference to book its place in the MLS playoffs. It’ll be their third trip to the playoffs in the past four seasons. While from Eastern Conference, Toronto FC beat the Red Bulls to clinch the club’s first Supporters’ Shield, assuring the Reds of the top seed in the Conference playoffs.

Patrick Vieira’s team New York City FC have already clinched a spot in the postseason and are in second-place in the Eastern Conference with two matches left in the regular season.
