As Crans Montana celebrates its 80th anniversary at the Crans-sur-Sierre Golf, the Omega European Masters is all set to tee-off with a splendid line- up, which has names like Rory McIlroy, Sergio Garcia, Tommy Fleetwood, and Matthew Fitzpatrick. The tournament is the oldest in Europe. In 1939 the first time it was played on the Crans-sur-Sierre Golf Club and since then the tournament has evolved significantly to become one of the most esteemed and much appreciated on the European Tour.

The Crans-Montana is located in the heart of the Swiss Alps and the Crans-sur-Sierre Golf-Club is known for its spectacular beauty and is one of the best courses the European Tour schedule.

The English Matthew Fitzpatrick will enter the course with an aim to be the first player to win three consecutive Omega European Masters titles. He is the first defending champion at the Omega European Masters in 40 years to win for two consecutive years (2017 & 2018). Last year he equaled a 40-year record when he became the first player since the legendary Seve Ballesteros in 1978 to defend his title in Crans Montana.

Other stars to look forward at the Omega European Masters are three-time Major winner and 2020 European Ryder Cup Captain Padraig Harrington, 21-time European Tour winner Jiménez, four-time European Tour winner Englishman Matt Wallace and so on.
