The Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series travels to Las Vegas, Nevada this week for the Kobalt 400. Just like the iconic Daytona 500, Indian audiences will get to catch the live action of the Kobalt 400 exclusively on DSPORT on Monday, March 13 from 00.15 hrs (Indian time)
The Kobalt 400 is a 400-mile (or 640 km) Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series race held annually at the fabled Las Vegas Motor Speedway in Nevada, USA. Among the celebrated drivers participating in the Kobalt 400 will be Jamie Mcmurray, Brad Keselowski, Austin Dillon, Kevin Harvick, Kasey Kahne, Danica Patrick, Kyle Busch.
The 400 mile race comprising of 267-laps is divided into three stages – Stage 1 and Stage 2 comprise of 80 laps whereas the Stage 3 comprises of 107 laps. Each driver earns one point for every position gained in the race, while drivers only earn one point per lap led and one more point for leading the most laps.
The Kobalt 400 has been widely followed by motorsports fans since its inaugural race in 1998.
