The end of autumn brings excitement among golf fans, as it depicts the beginning of Spain’s one of the greatest golf tournament Andalucia Valderrama Masters. But in order to restructure the world golf tournaments this year, the Andalucia Valderrama Masters 2019 has early summer dates. The golfing event is all set to start from 27th June and will go till 30th June at Valderrama Golf on the Costa del Sol. For the very first time, Andalucia Valderrama Masters is included in the Open Qualifying Series. Valderrama Golf is the first golf course in Spain to hold an Open Qualifying Series tournament.
While the tournament shifts its spot on the calendar, the location remains precisely the unchanged. Renowned as a world-class Valderrama Golf compromises of the most challenging 18 holes on the European Tour circuit. The action will begin on 27 and continue on 28 June when all the competitors will fight to reach the final 65. On 29 and 30 June, the playoffs will take place when the golfers will fight tooth and nail for the prestigious Andalucia Valderrama Masters trophy.
Sergio Garcia, the Spanish golfer and the winner of Andalucia Valderrama Masters in 2018 will be defending his title. He won the tournament for the third time in 2018, after bagging victory in 2011 and 2017. On the other hand, Jorge Campillo, the latest European Tour winner and secured his maiden European Tour title at the Trophée Hassan II back in April, is all set to join defending champion Sergio Garcia and World Number 13 Jon Rahm. He currently holds the fourth position in the Dubai Ranking by Rolex.
The visitors will get to witness European Tour’s three latest winners as they will tee up in Andalucia – rising Italian star Guido Migliozzi, Thailand’s most popular golfer Thongchai Jaidee and Austrian Bernd Wiesberger.
